Florida School Readiness Program
- The SR program eases tuition for working and student parents who meet income guidelines.
- Eligibility: Households that fall within Florida’s income limits and have a parent who is employed or enrolled in school/training.
- Support level: The state pays a portion of tuition; families cover a modest co‑pay that’s calculated on a sliding scale.

- Create an account in the Early Learning Family Portal.
- Upload proof of wages, class enrollment, or job‑training hours.
- Receive an approval notice from the Early Learning Coalition of Miami‑Dade/Monroe, then forward it to our admissions team.
Florida School Readiness Program
- VPK delivers free preschool for every four‑year‑old in Florida—no income test required
- Who qualifies: Children who turn four on or before September 1 of the current school year.
- Coverage: The state funds three hours of Montessori instruction each school day. Families pay only for any additional wrap‑around care they need.

Enrollment Steps
- Log in to the Family Portal (link below).
- Submit proof of age (birth certificate) and Florida residency.
- Download your VPK Certificate of Eligibility and send it to Sacred Heart to secure your seat.
